Iterate & Improve
When the first answer isn't perfect

Don't worry if the first answer isn't perfect. You can always ask for changes!
1The Idea
It's normal for the first response to not be exactly right. You can ask Claude to adjust, expand, simplify, or change anything. Think of it as a conversation!
2See the Difference
Bad Example
"(After getting a response) That's wrong, try again."
Claude doesn't know WHAT was wrong. Was it too long? Too simple? Wrong topic? This doesn't help Claude improve.
Good Example
"This is good, but it's a bit too technical. Can you simplify it and use everyday words instead of jargon? Also, please make it about half as long."
Now Claude knows exactly what to change: simpler words, less jargon, shorter length. It can give you a much better second attempt!

💡Clau-chan's Tip
Useful follow-up phrases: 'Make it shorter', 'Make it simpler', 'Add more detail about X', 'Change the tone to be more casual', 'Give me more examples'.
3Practice
Try It Yourself!
Write a follow-up request asking Claude to improve an answer that was too long and too formal.
